Christ Church Jerusalem is the oldest Protestant Church in the Middle East and the founding church of the Diocese of Jerusalem. It an evangelical witness in the heart of Jerusalem's Old City, an oasis of peace and beauty.

Christ Church Jerusalem is more than a worshipping community and even more than a working community, it is a ministry dedicated from its origin to educating Jewish people about the messiah and Christian people about our Jewish roots. We seek to combat all forms of anti-Jewish teaching in the church and all forms of prejudice against any people.

There is a working community on site which comprises Jewish-Israeli citizens, Palestinian Arabs and expatriates. This is an expression of one new man spoken of by the apostle Paul in Ephesians 2:15.

The working community is involved with the four ministries based on site: The Guesthouse, the Heritage Center, the Bookshop and the Church.
